Battery layout test

We have the mounts all done, as reported last time and I now have a pile of threaded rods, nuts and spacers to work out the layout of all the components on the bike.

Here is a shot of the way the plates have been machined to hold the batteries in place.

Note the spacers so all the pressure is not on the batteries themselves.

See they will mount straight through.

Setup with all batteries in place so I can calculate and drawup the electrical connections.

Bike still feels light easy to move and lift of the stand etc….

I will pass on you compliments to Luke.
Now I have the hard job of fitting all the other jigsaw pieces together. BMS, Controller 12 Volt stuff and maybe charger.

The care and thought you are taking to put this together in a practical and aesthetic way is commendable. I’ve been really enjoying this build journal.
